Her paternal grandparents were Count of Verdun Richwin and of France Cunegonde; her maternal grandfather was Eberhard IV Von Hohenburg Count of Nordgau and her maternal grandmother is Luitgarde of Luxembourg. She had a brother and two sisters, named Count of Salm & Luxembourg, of Luxembourg and Judith of. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 42 in 1005.1 General Notes
