William Lindley 
William was born on December 10th, 1714 in London Grove, Chester Co., Pa.1 William's father was James William Lindley and his mother was Eleanor Parke. His paternal grandparents were James William Lindley , Sr. and Alice Walsmith; his maternal grandfather was Robert Parke and his maternal grandmother is Margaret Medowe. He had four brothers and nine sisters, named James, Robert, Johnathan, Thomas, Rachel, Margery, Mary, Elizabeth, Sarah Elizabeth, Mary, Hannah, Elinor and Alice. He died at the age of 11 on October 26th, 1726.1 General Notes

that is the above 600 acres divided into 3 equal p arts and the remaining
half of the tract I now live on. To son Jonathan the p lantation I now
live on at death of wife. To daughter Rachel £20 at 21. To da ughter
Margarey £20 at 21. To daughter Elizabeth £20 at 21. To daughter Hanna h
£20 at 21. Also provides for a child yet to be born. To son James the
smi th tools. Executors: wife Elinor and son Thomas. Witnesses: Susanna
Wilcocks, Elish Maxwell, John Jordan.
