Henry I "the Fowler" Holy Roman Emperor 
Henry I "the Fowler" was born in 0876. Henry I "the Fowler"'s father was Otto "the Illustrious" von Sachsen Duke of Saxony and his mother was Hedwige of Germany. He had a brother and two sisters, named Liudolf, Thangmar and Oda. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 60 on July 2nd, 0936 in Mensleben, Saxony, Germany.General Notes
His military preparations were successfully tested in a war
against the Wends.
Founder of the Saxon Dynasty.
Bavaria, Swabia, & Lotharingia refused to acknowledge him at
first, & it was not until 925 that he managed to win
recognition from all the German states.
Secured a nine-year truce from warfare with the Magyars.
He transformed many of the small towns of Germany into
fortified cities with trained troops of mounted warriors.
When the Magyars invaded Thüringen, Henry repulsed them
decisively.
Defeated the Danes & seized territory from them.
Henry was the first to create a united Germany, and, although
he never received the imperial crown, he is generally
recognized as one of the Holy Roman emperors.
Henry I "the Fowler" and Matilda were married in a religious ceremony in 0909. They had three sons and two daughters, named Otto I "the Great", Henry I "the Quarrelsome", Bruno "the Great", Hadwig and Gerberge of Saxony.

Bruno "the Great" Archbishop of Cologne
Bruno "the Great" was born in 0925. He died at the age of 40 on October 11th, 0965 in Rheims, Marne, Champagne-Ardenne, France. He was buried after October 11th, 0965 in St. Pantaleon, Cologne, Köln, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.
They had a son named Thankmar.
