John Holliday

John was born on September 24th, 1782 in Chatham Co Nc.¹ John's father was Samuel Holliday and his mother was Lydia Hadley. His maternal grandparents were Joshua Hadley and Patience Brown. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Joshua, Samuel, Simon, Mary, Patience, Hannah, Sarah, Anne, Lydia and Ruth. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 11 on March 2nd, 1794.¹
