Elihu Hobson

Elihu was born on September 4th, 1824 in Chatham, Nc.¹ Elihu's father was Jesse Hobson and his mother was Lydia Newlin. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Hobson and Emey Marshill. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Alfred, Nathan, Calvin, Aaron, Ruth, Amy, Sarah J., Mary and Martha. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 89 on April 11th, 1914.¹
