Spencer Hadley 
Spencer was born in 1810 in Surry County, North Carolina.1 Spencer's father was Simon Hadley and his mother is Mary Spencer. His paternal grandparents were Simon Hadley and Bridget Foote. He had thirteen sisters named Sarah, Margaret, Anna, Elinor, Mary, Eunice, Bridget, Elizabeth, Nancy, Obedience, Rachel, Ruth and Lydia. He died at the age of 81 in September 1891.1 -
