Walter I Giffard Seigneur de Longueville 
Walter I was born about 1010 in Longueville-sur-Scie, , Normandie.1 Walter I's father was Osbern I de Bolbec Seigneur de Longueville-sur-Scie and his mother is Avelina d'Arque. His maternal grandfather was Blaatand 'Bluetooth'King of Denmark Harold III and his maternal grandmother is Gyrithe (Cyrid) Olafsdottir Queen of Denmark. He had two brothers and a sister, named Gozeline, Osbern II and N.N.. He was the youngest of the four children. He died in 1084 in , , France.2 2 General Notes
He accompanied William the Conqueror, and fought at Senla c (The Battle of Hastings). He was created Earl of Buckingh am in 1070, and was also Count of Longueville.
