Francis Marion Galloway (son of Jesse Galloway and Hannah Sparks Coones,husband of Melvine Henson) died on 16 September 1912 in Lewiston, NezPerce, Idaho. His obituary appeared in the Lewiston Morning Tribune on17 September 1912, p.5:

Death of F.M. Galloway
F.M. Galloway, of Inverness, Montana, died at the St. Joseph hospital at7:30 last night after a lingering illness from bladder trouble. Mr.Galloway was nearly 67 years of age and came to Lewiston about two monthsago for treatment. He was subjected to an operation about ten days agobut the disease had made such inroads upon his system that recovery wasimpossible.
He was a union soldier of the civil war and is survived by his wife andseven children, they being: Miss Grace Galloway of Inverness, Mont.; Mrs.John Westling of Lewiston; J.J. Galloway of Grand Forks, B.C.; M.M.Galloway of Inverness, Mont.; C.W. Galloway and T. W. Galloway ofChampion, Alberta. Those at his bedside were his wife, Miss GraceGalloway, M.M. Galloway, and Mr. and Mrs. Wrestling (sic). The funeralarrangements will not be made until the arrival of other relatives.
Note: Francis Marion Galloway is buried in Normal Hill Cemetery,Lewiston, Nez Perce, Idaho.
