Bertha de was born about 1218 in Of, Thetford, Norfolk, England. Bertha de's father was William de Ferrers Earl of Derby and her mother was Agnes De Meschines Lady of Chartley. She had five brothers and two sisters, named William de, Thomas, Hugh, Robert, Hugh, Sybil and Joane de. She died after February 10th, 1267.
