Halfdansson King Of Norway, known as Fretr, was born about 0725 in Raumariki, Vestfold, Norway.1   Fretr's father was "White Legs" Olafsson King Of Norway (Whiteleg Hvitrain) Halfdan and his mother was Asa Eysteindottir.  His paternal grandparents were Ingjaldsson King of Sweden (The Tree Hewer) Olaf "Tree-Hewer" and Solveig Halfsdandotter; his maternal grandparents were King Eystein (Hardrade) Throndsson of Uplands and Solveig Halfsdandotter. He had a brother named Gudrod "Mikillati" Halfdansson King Of.  He was the older of the two children.  He died about 0780 in In a Boating Accident Near The Isle Of Jarlsey.  He was buried in Borro near Vathla.1

They had two sons and a daughter, named Harold King Of, The Meek and Or Gev Of Westfold Saxons.
