Casimir I King of Poland

Casimir I was born on July 25th, 1016 in Krak+óow,Poland. Casimir I's father was Mieszko II and his mother was Richeza (Rixa) of the Palatinate. His paternal grandfather was Boleslaus I and his paternal grandmother is Conilde; his maternal grandparents were Edzo Count of Palatine on Rhin and Matilda of Saxony. He had two sisters named Ryksa (Rixa) of Poland and Gertruda of Poland. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 42 on November 28th, 1058.
