Clayton Brown 
Clayton was born on January 5th, 1685 in Marcus Hook,Delaware Co.,Pa. Clayton's father was James Brown and his mother was Honor Clayton. His paternal grandparents were Richard Brown and Mary Master; his maternal grandparents were Governor William Clayton and Prudence Lanckford. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James, William, Jeremiah, Daniel, Ann, Margery and Mary. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died in Marcus Point,Delaware Co.,Pa. He was buried in 1685.-
