Philip II de Braose 
Philip II de was born in of Bramber,Sussex,Eng. Philip II de's father was Philip I de Braose Baron Sir and his mother is Aenor (Eva) de Totnes (Toteneis). His paternal grandfather was William I de Braose Baron Sir and his paternal grandmother is Eva De Boissay; his maternal grandparents were Johel (Judhael) de Totnes (Toteneis) and Dau. (Arnoul) de Picquigny. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John de, Hildoin, William I de, Gildon de, Basilia De, Maud (Matilda) De, Bertha de and Dau. (Philip) de. He died before January 10th, 1201.General Notes
Son of Philip de Braose and Aanor; m. Matilda de Pont de l'Arche (reference to this marriage is in the Close Rolls of Henry II). Philip was left in charge of Wexford when Henry II left Ireland in 1172. Later that year he received a grant of North Munster (without the city of Limerick) but was unable to take possession. Younger brother of William de Braose, 3rd Lord of Bramber; made his name fighting with Henry II. Philip held Wexford on the king's departure in 1172. He was granted north Munster after others had refused it, but turned back as he approached Limerick. Philip failed to take his lands before his death in 1201.
