Almodis of was born about 1020. Almodis of's father is Eudes II 'Le Champernois' Count of Blois and her mother is Ermengarde of Auvergne. Her paternal grandparents are Odo Eudes I Count of Blois and Bertha of Burgundy; her maternal grandparents are Robert I De Auvergne and Ermengarde of Arles. She has two brothers and a sister, named Stephen II, Theobald III Comte De Blois et and Berthe of. She is the second youngest of the four children.General Notes
