John De Berkeley

John De was born in 1277 in Berkeley, Gloucestershire, England. John De's father was Thomas Berkeley Baron and his mother was Joan De Ferrers Baroness Berkeley. His paternal grandparents were Maurice "the Resolute" De Berkeley Lord of Berkeley and Isabella De Chilham; his maternal grandparents were William de Ferrers 7 E Derby and Margaret De Quincy. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Maurice IV the magnificent, Thomas III De, Alice, Margaret and Isabel De. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 50 on June 28th, 1327.
