Frederick I Barbarossa , Holy Roman Emperor 
Frederick I was born in 1122 in Waiblingen, Germany. Frederick I's father was Hohenstaufen, Duke of Swabia Frederick II and his mother was Judith of Bavaria. His paternal grandparents were Frederick I von Hohenstaufen , Duke of Swabia and Agnes; his maternal grandfather is Henry of Bavaria , Duke of Bavaria. He was an only child. He died at the age of 68 on June 10th, 1190 in drowned in River Calycandus, Cilicia.General Notes
