John Ashton 
John was born about 1418 in Of, Ashton u Lyne, Lancashire, England. John's father was John Ashton Knight and his mother is Jane Savile. His paternal grandfather was John De Assheton Knight and his paternal grandmother is Miss Standish; his maternal grandparents are John Savile and Isabel radcliffe. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Laurence, Robert, Lucy, Margaret, Elizabeth, Katherine, Agnes and Anne. He was the youngest of the ten children. He had a half-brother named Ralph. He died in 1508.-
