Zachariah Pumphrey 
Zachariah was born on December 4th, 1787 in PENNSYLVANIA/VIRGINIA. Zachariah's father was William Ridgley Pumphrey and his mother was Elizabeth Holmes. His paternal grandparents were Resin (Reason) Pumphrey and Sophia Ridgely; his maternal grandfather was Obadiah Holmes and his maternal grandmother is Mary Clunn. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Elija, Nimrod, Rezin, Caleb, Joseph, William Ridgley, Elizabeth, Mary, Nancy and Charlotte. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 87 on February 4th, 1875 in Wheeling,Ohio Co.,VA.-
