Eli Wood

Eli was born in 1810.¹ Eli's father was Bailey Wood and his mother was Lucretia Skaggs. His maternal grandparents were John,Jr. Skaggs and Catherine Hicks. He has four brothers and three sisters, named John, George L., Marshall, David, Ella Jane, Katherine and Mary. He is the oldest of the eight children.
