Wendel Wigle

Wendel was born on September 9th, 1846.¹   Wendel's father was Windle Wigle and his mother was Hannah Hairsine.  His maternal grandparents were Charles Hairsine and Mary Shipley. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Thomas H., Stephen, Charles, Benjamine, Mary, Susan H., Sarah, Julianna, Jane, Lucinda, Amelia and Janette.  He is the fifth youngest of the thirteen children.

‌Wendel and Mary were married in a religious ceremony about 1867.¹
