Stephen Wigle

Stephen was born on January 8th, 1837.¹   Stephen's father was Windle Wigle and his mother was Hannah Hairsine.  His maternal grandparents were Charles Hairsine and Mary Shipley. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Thomas H., Charles, Wendel, Benjamine, Mary, Susan H., Sarah, Julianna, Jane, Lucinda, Amelia and Janette.  He is the fourth oldest of the thirteen children.

‌Stephen and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony about 1848.¹
