Ruth Whitt 
Ruth was born on June 17th, 1772 in Montgomery Co., Virginia.1 Ruth's father was Richard Whitt and her mother was Susannah Skaggs. Her maternal grandparents were James Skaggs and Rachel Unknown. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Abijah, Hezekiah, Archibald, Robert, Richard, Edmund, Rachel, Elizabeth and Sussanah. She was the third youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 67 on October 18th, 1839.1 General Notes
