Archibald Whitt 
Archibald was born in 1763 in South Carolina.1 Archibald's father was Richard Whitt and his mother was Susannah Skaggs. His maternal grandparents were James Skaggs and Rachel Unknown. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Abijah, Hezekiah, Robert, Richard, Edmund, Rachel, Elizabeth, Ruth and Sussanah. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 68 in 1831 in Montgomery Co., Virginia.1 General Notes
