Wade Hampton West

Wade Hampton was born in Red River Co., Arkansas.¹   Wade Hampton's father was Jacob West and his mother was Mary Jane Wood.  His paternal grandfather was James Hampton West and his paternal grandmother is Jane Ann Unknown. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named James Thomas, Johhny, Joseph Lawrence, William Crawford, Benny, Danny, George Washington, Jake, Mary and Mentie.  He died on February 29th, 1896.¹
