Ruby Lenora was born on May 14th, 1913 in High Rolls, Otero Co., New Mexico.1 Ruby Lenora's father was William Newton Waldrip and her mother was Elizabeth Nelson. Her paternal grandparents were James Trousdel Waldrip and Alabama Maleance Graham. She had three sisters named Mary Helen, Allie Lucille and Gladys Ovlee. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 86 on December 2nd, 1999 in Knowles, Lea Co., New Mexico. She was buried in Twin Oaks Cemetery, Artesia, Chaves Co., New Mexico.1 1 General Notes
