Frederick was born on May 27th, 1899 in Shubert, Richardson Co., Nebraska.1 Frederick's father was Tillman Andrew Vice and his mother was Eliza Jane Farson. His paternal grandparents were George Washington Vice and Mary Barnes. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Artemas, Tillman Andrew,Jr., Grover, Glen William, Unknown, Mathilda M., Lillie, Bertha and Edith. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 81 on June 2nd, 1980 in York, York Co., Nebraska.1 General Notes
