Perry Monroe Underwood 
Perry Monroe was born in 1872 in Kentucky.1 Perry Monroe's father was Lewis J. Underwood and his mother was Mary Jane Warren. His paternal grandfather was Abraham Hiram Underwood and his paternal grandmother is Mary Roark; his maternal grandparents were Felix Grundy Warren and Elizabeth Frances Dearen. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Lewis Thomas, Jefferson Leslie, Isaac Lee, James Arthur, Robert Emmit, Mary Elizabeth, Ida Louise, Lou J., Virginia Alice and Kate Ella. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother named Charles Robinson. He died at the age of 78 on August 23rd, 1950 in Temple, Bell Co., Texas.
