Oscar Owen Underwood 
Oscar Owen was born on December 1st, 1879 in Franklin Co., Alabama.1 Oscar Owen's father was John James Underwood and his mother was Julie Elizbeth Kee. His paternal grandfather was Andrew Jackson Underwood and his paternal grandmother is Rebecca Thompson. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Andrew Jackson, John K., Nimrod Edgar, Nimrod Thurston, John Springs, Flora Verna, Sarah Ellen, Naomi Price, Elizabeth, Rebecca Plaiscetta and Lonie Estelle. He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 99 on December 26th, 1978.1 General Notes
