Oma Mae was born on January 19th, 1912 in Taylor Co., Kentucky.1 Oma Mae's father was John Lewis Underwood and her mother was Uliss Alcca Warren. Her paternal grandfather was Samuel S., Rev. Underwood and her paternal grandmother is Sarah A. Thompson; her maternal grandfather was Willis Green Warren and her maternal grandmother is Margaret E. Martin. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Melvin H., Dellia Herbert, Barney C., Albert, Walter A., Lillie N., Mattie and Chrissie. She was the youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 80 on January 30th, 1992 in Normal, McLean Co. , Illinois.1 General Notes
