Mattie Underwood 
Mattie was born on May 1st, 1880.1 Mattie's father was William Fletcher Underwood and her mother is Mary Jane Lewis. Her paternal grandfather is Gabriel Underwood and her paternal grandmother was Bridget Cochran. She had a brother and two sisters, named Golden Clark, Bessie and Cheery. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 72 on September 22nd, 1952.1 General Notes
