Charles Miles was born on March 8th, 1875 in Fulton Co., Kentucky.1 Charles Miles' father was Thomas F. Underwood and his mother was Cinncinnati Tennessee Harpole. His paternal grandparents were Clairborn Underwood and Nancy Dunn. He had a brother and a sister, named Oscar and Sarah Nan. He was the second oldest of the three children.
