Richard Owen was born on July 22nd, 1849.1 Richard Owen's father was Owen Young Tutor and his mother is Lucinda Dennis. His paternal grandparents were William Owen Tutor and Lucinda Senter; his maternal grandparents are Daniel Dennis and Rebecca Prince. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Jefferson D., Marshall Andrew, James K., David Franklin, Nancy and Mary Eva. He is the third oldest of the seven children.General Notes
