Mittie L. Tutor 
Mittie L. was born in June 1896 in Buckhorn Township, Harnett Co., North Carolina.1 Mittie L.'s father was Alfred Young Tutor and her mother was Charlotte L. Honeycutt. Her paternal grandparents were William Madison Tutor and Harriet Ligon; her maternal grandparents are Solomon Honeycutt and Dolly Unknown. She had five brothers and five sisters, named John, William Owen, James Braxton, Glover, Lemon Lee, Joanna, Phoebe, Magnolia T., Claudia Florence and Mary Etta. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She died about 1957.1 General Notes
