Mary Viola was born on December 5th, 1889 in Toccopola, Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 Mary Viola's father was Daniel Hacroy Tutor and her mother is Susan Vineard Tallant. Her paternal grandfather was Samuel Isaac Tutor and her paternal grandmother is Lucinda Ann Johnson. She had five brothers and three sisters, named John William, James Samuel, Daniel I., Ebb, Joel Wade, Lena Lee, Lucy A. and Sue. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 102 on January 19th, 1992 in Florence, Mississippi. She was buried in New Cleveland Cem., Cleveland, Mississippi.1 1 General Notes
