Living's father was George William Tumlinson and her mother was Lola Belle Alsobrook. Her paternal grandparents were James Stephen Tumlinson and Elizabeth Wright. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Hollis Wesley, Homer Joseph, Woodrow Wilson, Jimmie Dexter, Vernon Matthew, Herbert Hoover, Zera Georgia and Zula Mae.-
