Herbert Hoover was born on December 1st, 1931 in Gonzales Co., Texas.1 Herbert Hoover's father was George William Tumlinson and his mother was Lola Belle Alsobrook. His paternal grandparents were James Stephen Tumlinson and Elizabeth Wright. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Hollis Wesley, Homer Joseph, Woodrow Wilson, Jimmie Dexter, Vernon Matthew, Zera Georgia, Zula Mae and Living. He died at the age of 55 on November 16th, 1987 in Corpus Christi, Nueces Co., Texas.1 General Notes
