Clare Mae Tumlinson 
Clare Mae was born on January 12th, 1895 in Robstown, Crosby Co., Texas.1 Clare Mae's father was Jefferson Lee Tumlinson and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Slaughter. Her paternal grandparents were William Pytus Tumlinson and Mary Ann Boykin. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William Avery, Alvin, Beulah Elsie and Gladys. She was the oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother named Wilford H.. She died at the age of 87 on May 13th, 1982.1 General Notes
