Bennie Thornhill 
Bennie was born on February 19th, 1916.1 Bennie's father was Jacob P. Thornhill and his mother was Ida Mahitabelle Means. His maternal grandparents were Caleb Sewell Means and Docia Emeline Norris. He has five brothers and five sisters, named Caleb, Archie, Sherman, Frank, J. B., Pearl, Ruby, Edna, Gertrude and Nellie. He is the second youngest of the eleven children. He had a half-sister named Montei Pearl.General Notes
