Andrew Means 
Andrew was born in 1749 in Paxtang Township, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania.1 Andrew's father was John Means and his mother is Elizabeth Clark. His paternal grandparents are John Means and Unknown McCord. He had four brothers and a sister, named John, Jr., Benjamin, Adam, Joseph and Eleanor. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 77 in July 1826 in Fishing River Township, Clay Co., Missouri.1 General Notes
