Nelson Tennant 
Nelson was born in 1874 in Monogalia Co., Virginia.1 Nelson's father was Mahlon Tennant and his mother was Sarah Ellen Lemley. His maternal grandparents were David Lemley and Nancy Freeman. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Luther, Arza, J. Roscoe, Lemley, Nimrod, Martha Jane, Hilda, Icie Dell and Lucy. He has two half-brothers named Daniel and Encil.General Notes
