William Cherry Taylor 
William Cherry was born on January 8th, 1812 in WARREN COUNTY, KY.1 William Cherry's father was Allen Taylor and his mother was Lavina Cherry. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Taylor and Sarah Best; his maternal grandparents were William Cherry and Lottie Hopkins. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Aaron, Henry H, Alfred, Samuel Dawson, John Allen, Robert Benjamin Franklin, Joseph, Unknown, Tabitha, Frances, Sarah Jane and Edna Ann.
