Robert Pikney Tatum 
Robert Pikney was born on September 23rd, 1866 in Arkansas.1 Robert Pikney's father was Daniel Webster Tatum and his mother was Rachel Potts. His maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Potts. He had a brother and a sister, named Daniel Webster, Jr. and Mollie. He was the youngest of the three children. He had a half-sister named Lorenzo Dow Moss. Tioga - Robert Pickney Tatum 87, died at St. Vincent's sanitarium in She
rm an Tuesday after an illness with appendicitis of some 10 days durat
io n. He had undergone an operation, Friday afternoon in the attem
pt to sa ve his life. Mr. Tatum is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nina Tatu
m, five chi ldren, Henry and Emmet Tatum of Gainsville, Mrs. Lottie Morr
is and Mrs. Et hel Northern of Aspermont and Mrs. Wilma Underwood of Tiog
a. There we re 24 grandchildren. Mr. Tatum was a member of the Tioga Bapt

Robert was a shoemaker in Tioga Texas.
Robert played the violin, the neighbors loved to hear him play "Red Wi
ng s" and would call and ask him to play it when he got home from work.
Robert Pikney and Laura were married in a religious ceremony on September 23rd, 1887 in Collin Co., Texas.1 They had a son named Henry.
Robert Pikney and Emma Eudora were married in a religious ceremony on December 29th, 1892 in Collin Co., Texas.1 They had four sons and six daughters, named Henry Ester, Lee Roy, Robert Emmet, Son, Lottie May, Florence Ethel, Irene, Alma Lorine, Wilma and Essie Jewell.
