Rufus Alvin Stinnett 
Rufus Alvin was born on March 4th, 1892 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Rufus Alvin's father was Oliver R. Stinnett and his mother was Elizabeth Frances Thompson. His paternal grandparents are Daniel M. Stinnett and Margaret Ann Warren; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Jonathan Thompson and Mary Ann Warren. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Robert F., Leonard, Edward, Lou Ellen, Ethel, Bessie and Flossie. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 70 on September 21st, 1962 in LaRue Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Mount Sherman Cemetery, LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
