John Paul Spicer 
John Paul was born on February 17th, 1924 in Dickson Co., Tennessee.1 John Paul's father was John Alexander Spicer and his mother was Clara Lee Nesbitt. His paternal grandfather was James H. Spicer and his paternal grandmother is Martha Todd; his maternal grandparents are Ervin Nesbitt and Sarah Emma Stokes. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Ward Ervin, Ransom Warren, Slayden Leon, John Alexander, Jr., James Henry, Ruby Lee, Effie Mai, Hazel Eula, Katherine Earline, Clara Mai, Emma Jean, Living and Living. He died at the age of 69 on December 9th, 1993 in Dickson Co., Tennessee. He was buried in Williams Cemetery.1 1 General Notes
