Clara Alice was born on February 12th, 1869 in Vermilion Co., Illinois.1 Clara Alice's father was Asa Snider and her mother was Mary Lucinda Morrison. Her paternal grandparents were Asa Barton Snider and Ann Uley. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Earl Avery, Ezra Marcus, Barton, Annetta Cornelia and Mary Ellen. She was the youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 71 on August 25th, 1940 in Phillipsburg, Phillips Co., Kansas. She was buried in Reece Cemetery, Greenwood Co., Kansas.1 1 General Notes
