Martha Skaggs

Martha was born in 1827.¹ Martha's father was Lewis Skaggs and her mother is Nancy McDowell. Her paternal grandparents are Peter Skaggs and Martha Cothron. She has four brothers and a sister, named Peter L., Squire, Solomon, John L. B. and Nancy. She is the youngest of the six children.
