Ira Clifton was born in 1901.1 Ira Clifton's father was Samuel Major Skaggs and his mother is Viola Pepper. His paternal grandparents were John Calvin Skaggs and Arabelle Davis. He had three brothers named Closky Maxium, Herman Heywood and Glenn Fordyce. He is the second oldest of the four children. He had two half-sisters named Alta Ethel and Rosie Catherine.General Notes
