William Shorter

William was born in 1746.¹   William's father was John, Jr. Shorter and his mother is Kindness Unknown.  His paternal grandfather was John Shorter and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Underwood. He had two brothers and a sister, named John,3rd, James Archibald and Mary.  He is the second oldest of the four children.
