Myrtle White Shofner 
Myrtle White was born on November 22nd, 1896 in Kentucky.1 Myrtle White's father was Thomas Jefferson Shofner and her mother was Louisa Catherine Skaggs. Her maternal grandparents were Henry David Skaggs and Ruth S. Salsman. She had three brothers and three sisters, named David Cleaver, Charles Thomas, Chester Young, Ruth Janel, Bettie Susan and Ethel Maye. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 18 on May 16th, 1915.1 General Notes
