Sarah Ann was born on June 30th, 1881 in Richland Co., Wisconsin.1 Sarah Ann's father is Warner Shannon and her mother was Nancy Ellen Endicott. Her maternal grandfather is William Alexander Endicott and her maternal grandmother was Sarah Jane DeSpain. She had six brothers and a sister, named William Alexander, James Freeman, Arthur Warner, Charles Clarence, Oscar, Lawrence R. and Mary Clarissa. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 98 on July 2nd, 1979 in Richland Co., Wisconsin. She was buried in Basswood Cemetery, Richland Co., Wisconsin.1 1 General Notes
